Below are some words from the Emily, one of the development squad captains about Learn to Row:
“Our 10-week Learn to Row course is under way.
We started with a Taster Day in September which had a great turn out and with many then joining our 10-week course.
The groups have already got stuck in to our circuits classes, the technical tank sessions and are already on the water in boats learning to scull.
With such a strong start we are looking forward to watching them carrying on and, in a few weeks, picking up a sweep blade, ending in a fun race where they get to
put their new skills to the test and hopefully catch the rowing bug.”
