I am delighted to announce that the 2017/18 Committee would like to award the following rowers the opportunity to buy the Curlew RC Club Blazer from Collier & Robinson (Henley-on-Thames).
The Committee awards The Club Blazer for the following criteria:
Women’s 1st VIII – For winning the Medium Club Pennant for Women’s Head of the River 2018.
Marcus/Edward/Alex/Stuart – for being part of the highest placed Men’s VIII at Head of the River 2018
Fred Badowski – HRR Qualification and We/HoRR campaigns .
We will be having a mini celebration on the 19th April at the clubhouse when we put the Head photographs on the wall of the clubhouse, I would like to extend this invite for friends and families to come as well.
The hard work and dedication to the club and the boat has not gone unnoticed, and the results speak for themselves – the Club is very proud of your achievements. The women’s 1st VIII did something no other VIII has ever done and won a pennant, and the men placed the highest we had ever placed in coming 63rd. The Committee hope that this is the start of a great season and coming years for the club under the guidance of Fred. I look forward with great anticipation for the upcoming Henley Campaign and hope the dedication shown in the Head season is mirrored with the regatta season.
