Perry has been making blazers since 1946 – we’d consider ourselves something of an expert when it comes to creating beautifully tailored club blazers.
We operate our own factory based in Leeds where we house a highly skilled team of designers, tailors and machinists meaning we can deliver exceptional quality at a very reasonable price.
Alongside our Leeds Headquarters, we also operate a showroom in Knightsbridge, London, to offer a fitting service where members can make an appointment to try on sample sizes prior to ordering. And the cherry on top? Perry offers a “one-stop-shop” for all of Curlew’s formal wear requirements by also offering accessories such as ties, bowties, cummerbunds, waistcoats, trousers and caps…make a statment at Henley with the full outfit!
Curlew has selected Perry as the new supplier of the club’s formal wear range precisely for these reasons:
* High quality blazers
* Fantastic value for money
* Flexible sizing services
* “One-stop-formalwear-shop”

So how does the ordering process work now?
1. Let Matt Richardson know you would like to be part of the next order.
2. Work out what size you need.
3. Make payment to the club…and then wait for delivery! But how do I work out my size?
Choose which of our four sizing options suits you best:
• Using the sizing guide PDF, follow the instructions and select the best size.
• Email Perry to book an appointment at the Knightsbridge showroom: info@perryclub.co.uk
• Speak to Matt to arrange for the sizing set of blazers to be sent to the Curlew boathouse for a group fitting.
• Are more than 20 people ordering? If so, contact Perry to get a sizing advisor to come to the boathouse with the samples to fit everyone!
Great! But how do we know we can trust the process and quality? Fear not! Perry supply a large number of clubs and organisations across the country who can all testify to the quality of our garments and service.
These clubs include the likes of Cambridge University Boat Club, Thames Rowing Club, Lea Rowing Club, Henley Women’s Regatta, Agecroft…and more! Still not convinced?

Okay, I’m convinced! Tell me more about Perry!
Caroline and Bernard Bunting started a mail order children’s clothing company, The Children’s Warehouse, in 1994…not long after the birth of their second child, Anna. The Children’s Warehouse, based in London, had a strong reputation for the design and manufacture of high quality children’s clothes; so much so that parents asked schools to enlist The Children’s Warehouse to manufacture school uniform – and so that’s exactly what they did. By 2007 The Children’s Warehouse had grown significantly in the independent school uniform sector in London.
A chance phone call that year led the Bunting’s to acquire Perry, a Leeds based factory that had been firmly established as manufacturing distinctive school uniforms in the UK since 1946. Since then, the Bunting’s have grown Perry to become leaders in innovation and design, as a supplier of uniforms to schools, universities and clubs.
As the business has grown, we have increasingly been commissioned by a wide range of prestigious organisations seeking to enhance their own brand with garments that showcase their heritage. …And as for Anna? Having grown up in the business, she now heads up the Club division of Perry – a family business which prides itself on the quality of their garments and the personal service they offer.
