Poplar regatta is back after a hiatus of years and so are we, with nothing less than a goddamn armada. Twelve crews of buffly curlew rowers hungry for action. So many I can’t fit them on just one post. A good problem to have.
Curlew fans you know most of these boats well, but I see you looking at the 0900 VIII+. Who are they? Why nothing less than folk from our last learn to row course, making their debut. You never forget your first (race) and we are excited for them. Hatchlings no more, fledglings no more, they are grown and ready to fly (and hopefully not die). Huge well done guys and looking forward to cheering you on! You are my favourite crew of tomorrow.
