Dear Curlew members,
Reception staff at the Regatta Centre have informed us that people have been coming to London Regatta Centre (with bolt cutters) with the aim of stealing bikes. The staff have seen this happen during daylight hours, and say these potential thieves deliberately time their trips for when they know bikes will be at the docks.
While the reception staff will always be on the look-out, and the centre has both security and CCTV they cannot catch and prevent every event of this nature. Please be vigilent about where you store your bike and how it is secured. Storing inside the boat house may be preferable so the bikes are out of sight.
