The Committee are very pleased to announce that we have purchased a brand new Wintech Mid Weight Coxless IV, in time for Henley Women’s Regatta.

Club Chairman Matthew Richardson had this to say on the new boat purchase – “Due to the massive amount of hard work of this year’s Committee we are able to continue to invest in our equipment. This new boat, only the second brand new boat we have purchased in the past 10 years, is a fantastic edition to our ever improving boat fleet. It will also benefit the wider club, as we now have 4 top class coxless IV across all weight categories. allowing us to move down our recently refurbish “Ann Roberts” to the development squad.

This year will see our top two crews race at Henley Royal and Henley Women’s in brand new boats and brand new blades. I am very proud in what this club and its membership have achieved, we are moving the club forward and upwards and I am very excited to be Chairman at this great time. Hopefully I will see you all at our annual Henley Picnic this year, and if you would like to see our new IV race, then the boat will be racing this weekend at Reading Amateur and then Henley Women’s Regatta.”

The Committee would like to thank the Club Captain Jess Philips for all her hard work in organizing this boat purchase.

Currently the boat is unnamed, should you wish to dedicate the boat to a friend or loved one, please contact Matthew Richardson.
