We are delighted to announce that this year’s summer party / awards evening will be held at the Tower of London as part of a special evening, not available to the general public and normally reserved for VIP’s and visiting foreign leaders. This will take place on the 31st August from 7.15pm.

Our very own Yeoman Warder will entertain and delight us with tales of intrigue, imprisonment, execution and torture as he gives an exclusive, guided tour of the most visited tourist sites in the world –without tourists.

He will then take us to one of the most exclusive clubs in London – the amazing Yeoman Warders Mess to have our awards presentations with probably the cheapest drinks in London.

Once the awards have been presented, we go outside to watch the world-famous Ceremony of the Keys – the oldest military ceremony in the world that has taken place every single evening, without fail, for over 700 years.

This dramatic and moving ceremony finishes with a single bugler playing The Last Post. Once the Ceremony of the Keys over it is back to the Mess for more drinks.

Please note, due to the nature of the event and the rules of the Mess, guests MUST be 18+.

The dress code for this visit is formal.

Gentlemen –2 or 3 piece-suit. Alternatively, a blazer and a pair of trousers. A collared shirt with a tie or bow tie and appropriate shoes

Ladies – A dress, trouser suit or blouse & skirt/trousers and appropriate shoes (Please note that many of the paths are cobbled stoned and therefore, ladies wearing high heel shoes, do so at their own risk).

Available to all members and their guests.

£15 per person.
