On the 5th February, our senior, development and vets squads, along with alumni, friends and family were treated to a special evening of wine tasting at the Greenwich clubhouse (this was especially appreciated by the seniors who had just completed a 2k test!). Theatre of Wine (www.theatreofwine.com) provided a great selection of wines for us to try along with some entertaining and educational commentary. The prosecco (bottled with a cap instead of a cork) seemed to be a popular favourite.
To accompany the wines were some delicious (and pungent) cheeses from The Cheese Board in Greenwich – avoided by some, enjoyed by most!
