Presenting the most important seat in any coxless IV it’s Curlew B’s Felix Hemsted. You know him, he features in almost every race and proudly wear the full rig, curlew blazer, trousers and the cummerbund pretty much any time he’s out of the boat, which is rare my friends. Felix loves being on the water, or doing things, like serving on the Curlew committee, that contribute to him being on the water. This year he’s sought out an extra challenge by going for the Wyfold Challenge Cup through the qualifiers!

Turning to Men’s Captain Ben for his words:

‘Our Felix is back for Henley campaign number four with Curlew. The first three ended in qualification, so fingers crossed it’s four from four.

It would cap off a great season which began with a 33rd place finish at Scullers Head. Here is a man who lives and breathes rowing and dedication to this club. He’ll be steering Curlew B down the famous course.

Outside of the boat and Felix don’t go in the same sentence together.’

Felix is not afraid of a hard push on the water, and we have no doubt he’ll throw everything at it on Friday
