Did somebody say Curlew Henley contenders are heading to Met? You. Better. Believe.
That’s right, we’re sending both our men’s and women’s top fours to Met with a bonus cheeky VIII+ of young bucks (and buckettes) who want to show their value and prove that they too are Henley contenders. They’ve barely been off the water and the erg for the past few months so we’re hoping to see all that effort pay off in the racing.
All crews will be racing both Saturday and Sunday, and you can catch them on the livestream! I will be from a Nepali bus (I can think of no better distraction on a bumpy eight hour journey) and doing my best to keep the stories updated – because at Curlew RC we know what you crave, its Curlew racing news!

He messaged me a few days ago, no doubt inspired by a few pints of Guinness, to tell me he could do better (why do people keep doing that?!?) and he was mostly right. But don’t let that embolden members feeling inspired after imbibing pints, instead prepare your nomination to Curlew’s committee and watch your ideas take flight (next year)
