But not just Met this weekend, but also Peterborough for two more crews on Sunday. Our second women’s IV have decided they want some four lane action and a positively refined 1k distance, and our devs have decided to join them racing in the VIII+.
If I were in the UK and still rowing this would absolutely be the one I would want to go to. Peterborough is fun and there’s no chance of coming sixth. That and a friend told me she trailered there with the Otters once and had the best time and was given many G&Ts on the way home by them. Does that happen at the oh serious Met Regatta? I suspect not.
