Curlew maintained their winning ways from St Neots by taking a flurry of pots home from City of Oxford Royal Regatta. With over a dozen finals throughout the weekend, rowers from Curlew RC won the following categories:
IM2 Women’s VIII – S: Anita, Viki, Meghan, Laura, Tiff, Cathy, Yvette, Amy coxed by Iona.

However, it was a great weekend of racing with the men showing particular promise with their IM2 and IM3 VIII, there were also a number of smaller boats which were highly competitive. As always, Curlew definitely owned the Oxford dance floor, to prove that you can still have a great time and maintain your competitive edge – although those who raced in the afternoon on Sunday were a lot quicker than those who raced in the morning with their hangover.
Oxford brings the curtain down for Curlew and their regatta season, we all now go into hibernation and head down to the gym to prepare for the head season.
