On Saturday, Curlew RC gathered in Santa hats and Christmas sweaters for the club’s annual Plum Pudding races. Plenty of shambolic (yet spirited) rowing was on display as club members raced down the 500m course in boats festooned with tinsel. The sunny morning concluded with mince pies and lots of good cheer. The proceeds will help the club renew its fleet. (Special thanks to Curlew social secretary Bryony Mines for sourcing the food and festive decorations.)
