Sadly, due to the recent heavy rain and the subsequently red flag of the Thames, the WeHoRR Committee have made the right decision to cancel this years race due to safety concerns. It is a massive shame for our crew who have worked really hard over the winter months. It has been a truly horrid head season for British rowing, but well done to our ladies who have stayed motivated throughout the season.
We are very proud to introduce the women who would have represented Curlew at WeHoRR.
Introducing the crew for Women’s Head of the River Race 2020
This weekend the women’s squad are taking to the Tideway for WeHoRR. After some time off the water and an excessive amount of time on the grey machines thanks to the incessant storms, we’re (kinda not) ready to take on some crews down the gruelling course that is Head of the River. We’ve got some just-in-time Tideway practise under our belts for this weekend, ready to put down some power and will be looking forward to the brownies after the race.
